Exercise Tip

EXERCISE is ESSENTIAL Yes, we were designed to move our bodies , to use energy and keep our metabolism up. It's not just about weight loss and achieving what we consider the 'perfect' physique, it keeps our brains healthy, reduces the risk of cancer, dementia and heart disease, slows ageing and is a mood booster and it doesn't have to be in a gym!


HOW MUCH CARDIO DO I NEED? The recommended amount is about a minimum of 150 minutes or more per week of moderate intensity exercise (6 times your resting heart rate). That's 30 minutes or more on 5 days of the week. Preferably building up to 60 minutes as often as you can. Any amount is positive.
